The film program at Hudson PLAY gives students the tools and tech they need to express themselves in a new medium. Using DSLR film cameras, students learn how to effectively frame a shot and the subjects inside of it. Students worked in groups to make their own original short films, learning the tricks of the trade in their own miniature production.

 

At Hudson PLAY, students learn the elements of a successful screenplay; the foundation of any good film. Students studied the three-act plot structure and how to write original screenplays for their own short films.

PLAY kids have also drawn out storyboards for their projects, which allow them to shoot their own scenes more efficiently while manifesting their creative visions.
